Main point.you hate that you have to grind to unlock things (sidenote I think you need to learn what grinding is - you are not doing the same thing over and over in the hopes of an unlock to happen, they are guaranteed if you are successful. It helps you get used to each one seperately, instead of just using the same combo over and over. You are given certain things on each level, and unlocks make it so you have more choice. Unlocking abilities and skills is one thing, but the basic ingame toolkit? Why must I grind hoping to obtain the basic stuff?įirstly, ALL gemcrafts were like this. It's annoying that I don't have access to the basic gems and towers right off the bat.

You want the game to give you literally everything from the start, without having to unlock *anything at all*? And, if you open it, you know what's in it BECAUSE YOU JUST OPENED IT.Īnd for somebody that hates tedium, what are you actually wanting? All unlocks already, so you can go straight to endurance, to do the same maps over and over repetitively getting a little further each time.? I once joked about some people needing a "click here to complete the level" or "click here to unlock everything" button, but more and more it's becoming obvious this is actually what some people need.Īnd for somebody that hates tedium, what are you actually wanting? I hate having to spend so much time unlocking the basics just so I can play this fun, open-ended game the way I like. Even if you open them, you won't know what's inside unless you look at one of the guides posted. Oh! But each wizard tower is annoying to open. I hate that there are 6 gems, 6 buildings, and so on, but for all the early levels you only get a few of them until you start beating wizard towers.
